Learn to Ride Program
The Champaign-Urbana Mass Transit District implemented a Learn to Ride Program to help educate children on riding public transit. The Learn to Ride program teaches students bus riding safety and etiquette including: waiting for the bus to stop before approaching it from the curb, checking to see that no other traffic is coming before crossing, and making sure to always remain in clear view of the bus driver.

The C-U MTD also needed training for bus operators that could be taken at any time as new operators were hired.
